I absolutely love the way she tells the story of Dash and Amelia. The Boy Next Door is a beautiful story of friendship, of love and loss, heartbreak and joy. It takes you from the blissful innocence of youth to the love and lust of adolescence and adulthood. I lost myself in the world of Dash and Ammy. The descriptive writing, without being over explained, placed me firmly in the story and touched my heart.
